Classic Hawaiian Music Player Josh Kekoa Cho

Bringing positive Hawaiian music from the Classic Era and the laid back vibes of his tropic paradise home is Kekoa's primary mission. In fulfilling this mission, he has become the only New York City-area professional ukulele singer and lap steel guitarist born-and-raised in the Hawaiian Islands.

Classic Hapa Haole Era Hawaiian Vibes

Josh Kekoa Cho brings the sounds of 1940s and 1950s era Hawaiian music, complete with dreamy steel guitar, baritone vocals ala Alfred Apaka, strumming ukulele and Live Polynesian Princess Hula performances. Perfect for Tiki gatherings in the spirit of Don the Beachcomber and Trader Vic's style social cocktail lounge scenes.

From One Island To Another

Inspiration for the band's Island mojo comes from Josh's roots on the Hawaiian Island of Oah'u, home to Honolulu, Waikiki and world famous surfing spots. Many of the songs Josh sings are reminiscent of the Golden Era of Hawaiian music, when Honolulu and Waikiki were the center of the Hawaiian music industry.

Our Tropical Polynesian Sound

The music mix comes from traditional ukulele and vocals, classic Hawaiian steel guitar, acoustic guitar and bongos.
